Davis-Standard offer a wide range of twin belt haul-offs to suit customer needs, whether for thin bore medical tubes, profiles or large diameter tubing. The latest Generation of Haul-off’s incorporate AC Vector drive with electronically adjustable speed ranges up to 150m/min without loss of torque. The model H50/500 operates at speeds up to 240m/min with a pull of 36 kg The benefits to the customer include low maintenance with the associated ongoing cost savings and no pulley changes, reducing downtime between runs. For Medical Tubes we offer the high speed 1003 Haul-off which can run at speeds of over 350 m/min. Tailored to meet stringent medical standards it has been successfully installed in clean-rooms around the world. The HO-series haul-offs are suited for heavier duty applications where higher pulling efforts are required. Belt width and length can be adapted to suit customer’s product. For cosmetic tubes and other thin-walled, large diameter products the H series has been extended to include models with a 1500mm contact length, so the thin-walled product is not crushed and retains its concentricity, vital for downstream operations such as capping.
