Brushed and Oiled Oak Flooring

Our brushed solid wood flooring is equally suited to both traditional and contemporary settings. Newly machined oak floorboards are passed through high speed nylon brushes which raises the grain of the wood producing a tactile, textured surface. Because the wood is not completely smooth it is much more forgiving to signs of everyday wear and tear; our brushed oak floors are therefore extremely suited to high traffic areas such as hallways and main living spaces.Our brushed solid wood flooring can be further enhanced by a hardwax oil finish which adds a beautiful satin lustre, whilst providing a hardwearing finish. This finish can be re-applied to your wood floor, in time, without the need for prior sanding. Fuming adds an extra dimension to our brushed floors, as the brushing enhances the fuming process leading to floorboards with a much richer depth of colour and sheen.
