The Rigidcore (RGD) types are available in section lengths up to 600mm and incorporate location pins in the tube ends for ease of alignment. The Flexicore (FLX) types use a flexible nylon tube to retain the blades and are more suitable for long continuous applications of up to 3m . Both core types are available with either 12.5mm or 19mm blade pitches and can be supplied with a recessed or flanged frame if required. Rigidcore and Flexicore grilles are supplied in widths of up to 300mm and sectional lengths of 600mm and 3m respectively. Widths greater than 300mm can be supplied, but additional longitudinal supports may be required to maintain rigidity. selection finish type sizes RGD - FLX Selection of Rigidcore and Flexicore grilles should be based on the F1B nomogram on page 8 Sect 1 PART D. Both grille types are available in silver anodised finish as standard, although coloured anodising is also available to special order.
