Open Farm Sunday 2015

The beautiful weather and promise of a fun, free day out for the family brought hundreds of visitors to our lovely Burns Penlan Farm in Kidwelly on Sunday June 7th. The event was part of Open Farm Sunday, which saw farms across the UK open their doors to members of the public, giving them the opportunity to learn about farming, meet animals and enjoy various activities. Activities for children included feeding the lambs, milking pretend cow Miss Daisy and meeting some newborn chicks. There were also vintage tractors to climb on, craft activites and fun games to play.
