Bulk external silos can be supplied for raw material intake systems or for storage of finished product prior to its collection. Raw material silos are generally floor mounted and finished product silos are stillage mounted to permit direct loading of tankers below.
Silos are supplied with level detection systems and filtration units and can also incorporate de-humidification and drying systems together with trace heating and external lagging dependant upon the specific material requirements.
These silos are manufacture from a variety of materials to suit the specific material requirements from woven Polypropylene for storage of light low dust materials such as packaging and Polystyrene to Triveara material for storage of powders and granules.
Fabric silos can be designed and manufactured to provide the equivalent functionality to those of conventional steel silos and can incorporate level detection, automated in / out feed valves, sample ports and product viewing windows. In addition to this these silos can include upper surface filtration systems to permit air expulsion during pneumatic filling sequences.
