Timber Cabins are a very popular aesthetically pleasing alternative external cladding option for our Jackleg Cabins, Steel Cabins, Security Huts, Gatehouses and Modular Buildings product ranges. The durability and versatility of the finished cladding effects have ensured they remain a favourite within the industry.
Our Timber Clad Cabins are available in all types of hardwood or softwood exterior cladding. We have several standard options including Thermowood, Cedar or Painted Softwood cladding but we can clad our cabins in any other type of cladding available to the marketplace. The fascia and corner trims are fitted with Plastisol as standard but can be matched to the timber external wall cladding if preferred and can be colour matched to the main walls or supplied in another colour of preferred.
Timber clad garden buildings work especially well in situ, allowing for a more subtle and natural look to be maintained in any garden setting or green space.
Thermowood Cladding is our recommended choice for our Timber Clad Cabins. Thermowood is a heat treated softwood that is as hard wearing as most hardwood cladding, will be maintenance free for 10+ years and is cheaper than the hardwood alternatives. Due to the low maintenance nature of timber cladding, thermowood in particular, it’s an incredibly eco-friendly option and building material for the fact that it prevents the creation of non-recyclable waste – important to bear in mind if eco-impact is a top priority for your project.
If fire ratings are required, we can treat the timber cladding with a fire varnish or alternatively we can offer a timber effect cladding called Cedral Lap which will comply with most required regulations for fire.
See our website for the different options we can offer you to suit the usage of the cabin.
