25-02-2018
As school and college students nervously await exam results this month, representatives of the Camloc team recently got to see first-hand the impressive engineering talent of the future – presenting an award at Leicester College’s Annual Engineering Awards Ceremony.
Businesses, tutors, parents and guests gathered alongside learners at this special event which took place at The Theatre at Leicester College’s Abbey Park Campus, and awards were presented to those completing qualifications in the Automotive and Engineering sectors.
“Leicester College does an excellent job in ensuring their learners are well-prepared for their career ahead, and we were delighted to attend and present the Overall Engineering Learner of the Year Award with Principal Verity Hancock on the evening,” said Camloc Sales and Marketing Director, Andy Hubbard.
Camloc Directors, Matt Warne and Andy Hubbard presented the Overall Engineering Learner of the Year Award to Amber Ashman who was studying Vehicle Paint Spraying Level 2.
“It was fantastic to witness such passion and enthusiasm for engineering from such dedicated young men and women, and I’m sure many will go on to offer exciting and fresh ideas for the industry in the future,” said Andy.
