Alloy 7020 is heat treatable and age hardens naturally therefore will recover properties in a heat affected zone after welding.It has good ballistic deterrent properties.Uses include armoured vehicles, military bridges, motor cycle and bicycle frames.At Capalex we use the following alloys; 1050, 1200, 2014(A), 2024, 3003, 5083, 6005(A), 6060, 6061, 6063(A), 6082, 7020, 7075.
