Our extensive on-site manufacturing division has the capability to turn your raw extrusion into a machined and finished component. Our machine shop provides cutting, milling, multi axis cnc machining of high tolerance components, drilling, tapping, punching, turning, forming and de-burring, to produce high quality close tolerance finished components. Powder coating is a very durable method of providing a decorative finish to metals and a range of other materials.Our powder coating facility offers finishing in a variety of colours with RAL, BS or colour matched powders. We are able to powder coat both aluminium and steel sections of lengths up to 6 metres, and smaller machined or formed components.There are also different varieties of finishes to choose from.We are also able to offer a sub-contracting service for any steel or aluminium you require powder coated. Please contact us for further information regarding our sub-contracting services.The main finish reflects the gloss level of the final product, usually being Gloss, Satin or Matt. There is also the choice between Flat finish and Metallic.When choosing metallic powders Capalex always use the more expensive bonded powders as this gives a more uniform spread of metallic particles on the end product. If your product requires a metallic finish always ask if the powder is bonded or not.Also there are more uncommon finishes like Hammerite, Textured etc.
