Easy to operate, clean & built for reliability. {CONSTRUCTION}: Rust proofed steel pedestals & cast aluminium bases. Non corrosive ductile aluminium alloy made for direct contact with food, is impervious to brine, starch & mild acids. The main drive shaft runs in ball races in a large grease chamber. 1.3hp motor. The drive between the output shaft & the drive shaft of the peeler is by means of flexible coupling which will prevent damage to the motor or gearbox if the machine is accidentally jammed or overloaded. {CLEANING}: The top of the peeling chamber lifts off so that the rotor plate can be removed with two lifting hooks. {ABRASIVE}: The rotor plate is bonded with abrasive grit. The wall of the chamber has cast-in abrasive serrations which removes the need for abrasive coating - reduces potato loss & means the chamber never needs re coating. {SLUDGE DISPOSAL}: The waste disposal adaptor dispenses the need for an interceptor although internal or external interceptors are available.
