This Sponge Float (Hydro Board) is a fantastic tool to add to your plastering and rendering kit. It is the perfect tool to smooth plaster, render and cement therefore creating a superb finish. The Medium sized (160 x 300 mm) sponge allows the perfect absorbency so the sponge will truly float across the newly plastered wall. This gliding motion will flatten the plaster or render to achieve the very best finish. If the sponge shows any resistance this can often be due to not using enough water or the material has already gone off. When used effectively the sponge float will remove trowel marks, blend in lines and remove air pockets from spray application. The Hydro Board is incredibly lightweight and easy to use across large areas of plastering and rendering. The sponge texture is very similar to a ‘car wash sponge’.
