Roll Collation System

The HSA 600-2 Automatic rewind machines can be laid out into a working cell with one operator minding the rewind machines, changing master rolls and filling the core hoppers. The finished rolls exit from the back of the machines onto a common conveyor and are conveyed to a end flight conveyor where they can either be manually packed or go to an automatic box erection / roll loading station. A fully operational cell of three machines, plus conveying system, would give production rates of around 450 x 300 metre length rolls per hour, boxed and packed, with two operators, or only one operator if using an automatic carton erection and box packing system is being used.
