12.5mm Soundshield is a plasterboard designed for use in areas where sound reduction is of particular importance. Its high mass and tuned core help absorb sound energy, giving enhanced acoustic performance to drywall systems. Soundshield comprises a core of calcium sulphate dehydrate encase in paper liner. Minor additives include starch, foaming agents and dispersants.
