Thermowood Tongue & Groove Planed Shiplap is heat-treated to over 200 degrees centigrade. This helps a chemical and structural change in the timber to create a more durable and stable material for cladding. Features: Modified softwood with double-cycle heat process for maximum durability equivalent to UC4 (suitable to be buried in the ground) Created by steam heating Scandinavian Redwood softwood, no chemicals used 50% more stable than untreated softwood, so less shrinkage, swelling and distortion Very durable (approx 30-year service life), low maintenance, no preservative needed Water, rot, decay and fungi resistant Easy to work and lightweight ***Please note lengths shown are subject to availability and you may receive different lengths that will be equal or greater than overall meterage that has been ordered***
