SuperQuilt is a very flexible, easy to fit, multifoil insulation thermal tested to EN16012 and confirms high core thermal resistance of 1.52m?K/W. The multi-layers of insulation effectively deal with all forms of energy transfer conduction, convection and radiation. Works effectively by reflecting infra-red radiation so it is effective in winter by reflecting heat into the building and cold out, and in summer it is an effective solar overheating barrier reducing the need for artificial cooling systems, preventing uncomfortable heat build-up in the roof. The introduction of a unique method of stitching reduces cold bridging commonly seen with other multi-foil insulation materials.
