Portable Cooling units

Ideal for use in: Small Offices, Domestic, Schools and Colleges Cooling Range: 1 kW to 3.5 kW Generally A Small but efficient portable cooling appliance delivered to operate in one piece (Hence the name Monoblock). The units will have a sealed refrigerant cooling system which passes the room air through a filter and a cold aluminium coil before returning it to the room cleaner and colder. The heat produced from cooling the room air is collected and discharged out through a 100mm (4") flexible - Tumble drier type hose, which ideally should be vented to outside through a doorway, window or purpose built aperture. The hoses supplied with the units are not particularly long (on average 1.6 metres) but they can be extended (slightly) by use of an accessory extension package. These units are limited in cooling capacity by the amount of heat and volume of air that can be effectively vented outside by the discharge hose. Normally the cooling capacity is limited to approx. 2 to 3 kW. The units will produce waste 'condensate' water during the cooling cycle and this either drains into a small inbuilt catchment tray, drains away by gravity drain (for permanent installations this can be installed by others) or is gradually evaporated out with the hot discharge air blowing from the unit.
