A MODERN DAY LEDA AND THE SWAN

RHS PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2017 FINALIST! After the success of our RHS Chelsea show garden last year we couldn't be more pleased to be starting this season with such brilliant news, Our modern stone statue of Leda and The Swan has been chosen from over 350 exhibitors as a finalist for the prestigious RHS Product of the Year! The winner will be decided by a panel of industry experts at RHS Chelsea as well as Deborah Meaden from Dragon’s Den, Chris Harrop and Peter Seabrook. The winning entry will be announced at 6.00pm on Sunday 21st May 2017, so stay tuned. A MODERN TWIST ON CLASSICAL DESIGN Our sleek and tactile statue is a contemporary portrayal of the conception of Helen of Troy as an expression of equal beauty between the swan Zeus and Leda’s femininity. The Greek myth has been the inspiration of many famous works of art including lost paintings by Michaelangelo and Leonardo Di Vinci and traditional marble sculptures in Roman times, but Chilstone’s modern design is totally unique within the genre.
