Galactus Integration Noise Monitor
The Invictus range of next-generation environmental noise measurement instruments from Cirrus Research includes a portable noise monitor for short and medium-term measurements, as well as an installed system for long-term measurements. All versions of the Invictus have advanced features, making it suitable for any noise monitoring application. It is the ideal acoustic front end for airport and noise monitoring systems and provides industry-standard RS232 data stream with user-configurable parameters. It is designed for easy integration with external data loggers and environmental monitoring systems. The Invictus provides data every 1 or 0.5 seconds, with acoustic data points available up to every 1/16th second. It meets all the data requirements of ISO 20906:2009 for unattended monitoring of aircraft sound near airports. It features a weather-protected outdoor microphone with a 200mm dual-layer windscreen and an electrostatic calibration system with calibration check and verification functions. The Invictus also offers automatic GPS synchronization with time, date, and location data.
