CMI have a wide range of upgrades that we can offer you for your existing hot foil stamping press. For the Heidelberg and Johanisberg cylinders we can retrofit drop in steel honeycomb heater plates that will reduce set up times and help to improve the quality of the foiled image. The Foilmiser pull through system can be retrofitted to any cylinder machine, including B1 models, and gives a high quality, reliable fix, for a fraction of the cost of a replacement machine. For the Heidelberg GTP platen we can offer our Foilmiser stepper motor conversion kit. This kit enables the GTP to do long and short pulls saving foil. A foil bar kit is also available that when fitted speeds foil changes and reduces foil usage by allowing the machine operator to run up to ten individual rolls. Our lightweight aluminium heated honeycombs have proved to be a great success on Saroglia and Heidelberg platens. Made from aircraft quality aluminium, the chases weigh less than a quarter of the original steel ones, reducing operator fatigue and the risk of injury when lifting out.
