This means is that unlike other thread sealing tapes on the market, Cobas Pink Industrial Thread Sealing Tape has not been stretched during the manufacturing process. Doing this lowers the apparent density of tape by increasing its porosity. As stretched tape is more porous, more is required to obtain an effective seal. Also, Cobas Pink Industrial Thread Sealing Tape is colour coded so fitters and inspectors can easily recognize it as quality tape.
