CHH’s Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Division has selected Comtec as their distribution partner for Integrated Outdoor Active Cabinets, Passive Cabinets, Power Pillar Solutions & Equipment Racks which are designed and manufactured in the UK to meet industry standards and provide a higher level of performance.
This Strategic Partnership will combine the strengths of both companies to expand their joint offering to the rapidly expanding UK AltNet /FTTx/ Telecom market, and allows customers to benefit from competitive lead times for integrated cabinets, civils and supply chain solutions.
Speaking about how the concept came about, Dan Conway MD from Comtec, Part of ETC Group, explained Comtec provides a One-Stop-Shop Product Portfolio and Supply Chain Management Solutions to the Alt Net and Telecom Market and fully integrated active cabinets is an extension of this offering. As our customers increase the scale and speed of deploying fibre networks they often don’t have the time or desire to integrate their street side cabinets themselves. Our partnership with CHH provides continuity of supply, reduced lead-times, technical expertise and innovation to allow customers to achieve their network build milestones”.
