The natural organic qualities of beech wood, characterised by knots and veins, means that each piece is slightly unique. There is also a matching clear plastic domed lid with wooden knob available as an optional extra. The "Dressed in Wood" is a collection skillfully made by artisans from Valle Strona in Italy. This is region with a long history of producing wooden artefacts, dating as far back as the 16th century.
