Norman Cherner, the designer who created this contemporary classic, is an unsung hero of the 1950's, an innovator in plywood and affordable design. The seat is made of ever decreasing, laminated steam moulded plywood layers, decreasing from 15 plys down to 5 plys at the outer edge of the seat shell. This Cherner Armchair is manufactured to precise, exacting standards so that every detail and profile has been designed to create a stunning appearance and maximum comfort.
