Magis Aviva folding chair, is a beautifully compact piece of furniture. Designed by Marc Berthier at the end of the 1970's in response to the mobility of the urban lifestyle. The Aviva chair was manufactured in Italy by Magis Design for 20 years, and then restyled in 2010. This chair folds completely flat and has been designed for contract use and is equally at home within a domestic environment. The chair is constructed using 2 sections of beech wood to form the frame. The moving parts of the chair are joined together with small metal parts. The specific kinematics of this chair demands absolute precision, something rarely required in woodworking.
