Veritable Pollination Brush is a must-have tool for the hand pollination of strawberries, mini bell pepper and hot chillies. Pollination is the fertilisation of a flower so that it can bear fruit. Usually insects from the natural world such as bees and butterfly's do this job for us, but vegetables grown indoors such such as strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, chillies need to be fertilised manually. To pollinate a plant, carefully brush the inside of each flower to transfer the pollen grains into the pistil (female part of the flower). You must be gentle as the flowers are particularly fragile.
