Ready to Use Copper Clay Fire by kiln in just 30 minutes No active carbon required Can also be torch fired Once fired, is pure, solid copper Art Clay Copper only requires a 30 minute kiln firing time and can even be fired with a torch. No activated carbon or firing pan is required. This 50g pack of Art Clay Copper is ready to use straight from the packet, although it may require rehydrating slightly by adding a small amount of water. After working and drying, fire Art Clay Copper in a kiln at 970°C for 30 minutes, then remove and quench in water to remove firescale. Pickling may be required to remove heavy firescale. Shrinkage 9-10%
