10mm Round Natural gemstone Hardness: 6.5 - 7 on the Mohs scale Thread hole size 1mm Healing properties: Grounding, Stabilising Black lava stones are a type of igneous rock, formed when incredibly hot liquid lava solidifies. Easily identifiable by its dimpled surface holes and bubble textures, lava beads are extremely lightweight and have a rough ceramic style finish. These beads measure approximately 10mm in diameter with a threading hole size of 1mm and are supplied as a 16" strand. Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so patterns and finish will vary. Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place lava stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Lava can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth. It is advised to avoid exposing lava to prolonged periods of heat and light.
