Made of unglazed ceramic 10cm/4" diameter Perfect for use with Borax cone Made of ceramic (unglazed) and approx. 10cm/4" in diameter (working inner diameter, 9cm/3.5"). Used with a Borax Bar (998 098E) and water - a receptacle in which to form a paste. Due to the ceramic texture, when the bar is moved in a circular motion on the botom of the dish, fine deposits of the bar are left in the water, thus forming a flux paste. The Borax Dish can also be used to mix other fluxes. Always ensure the dish is clean - any `foreign` substances mixed with the flux may effect the soldering process. Working diameter = 9cm/3.5 inches.
