Plastic cased, retractable Brass Pencil Brush. By holding the front of the pencil and twisting the body the brass bristles either extend or retract. Use under running water with a detergent to prevent any brass particles becoming embedded in the surface of the metal. Suitable for use with a cleaning agent to ensure a clean surface before soldering, the brush may also be used to create a `brushed matt` effect on the surface of a finished article. Replacement bristles available in boxes of 24 pieces see 999 176. (To fit: unscrew the the front of the pencil, remove the old bristle stub and slot in the replacement, replace the front).
