This high quality steel burr from Busch has a cylinder shaped profile measuring 0.90mm diameter. Burrs are used in conjunction with a pendant drill, hobby drill or micromotor in order to cut or grind away, shape or give pattern to a surface (usually metal). This burr has a total length of 3.90mm. Cylindrical burrs are suitable for use in place of a hand file, and are perfect for coarse grinding, filing or finishing the inside of ring shanks. To prolong the life of a burr and reduce chatter, a lubricant such as Burr Life Cut Lube (998 021) can be used.
