Required primer for use with COLORIT® Creates a chemical bond between resin and metal Helps to secure colour resin in place 1st stage of a 4 stage process COLORIT® is an integrated system for applying high quality colour designs on solid surfaces, perfect for both jewellery pieces and colour marking medical or dental instruments. This Premium Bond Protective Layer is a required primer that is used at the initial stage of applying COLORIT® colour resins to your pieces. It is particularly useful on larger inlays, highly polished surfaces and jewellery that will be electroplated after COLORIT® resins have been added. It works by forming a chemical bond between the resin and metal and needs to be applied at the first stage of the COLORIT® resin application process; First stage: Premium Bond Protective Layer (860 765) Second Stage: Bond Activator Glue (860 766) Third Stage: Applying COLORIT® resin Fourth Stage: Applying Hi Clear Transparent for lustrous finish Once your piece has been cleaned and dried add a layer of the Premium Bond Protective Layer and let it air-dry. Then continue the process by applying the Activator Glue, then finally adding your required colour and light to cure. Please note the following; This product is acetone based and will evaporate quickly so it is essential to keep the bottle closed when not in use. Must be used at room temperature. No additional heat or light-curing is required when drying the protective layer bond. This product is categorised as Hazardous Goods therefore it may be a diluted solution of pure chemical, a mixture of substances, manufactured products or articles which can pose a low element of risk to people, animals or the environment if not properly handled in use or in transport. Therefore narrowing down the choice of delivery methods. Supplied in a 4ml bottle.
