It is a liquid ceramic compound material which is a mixture of high quality light-active polymer acrylate, ceramic filling materials and organic colour pigments, that can be hardened permanently under blue UV light and polished afterwards. Simply apply one coat to pre-cured colours then cure again. COLORIT® has a simple application and is quick and easy to process, grind and polish; It will work with any precious or non-precious metals including; platinum, silver and stainless steel. COLORIT® must be applied into the cavities of your desired shapes. Relatively liquid when applied, therefore can flow away when added to flat surfaces. Apply thin layers of around 0.2mm with an application instrument or dosing system. Must be cured by blue UV light. Thicker layers can be applied and cured layer by layer. Can be used straight out of the bottle. Forms part of a four stage application process; First stage: Premium Bond Protective Layer (860 765) Second Stage: Bond Activator Glue (860 766) Third Stage: Applying COLORIT® resin Fourth Stage: Applying Hi Clear Transparent for a lustrous finish Due to its hardness, cured COLORIT® allows for further mechanical processing in order to make the surface shiny; by grinding and polishing. You can also clean COLORIT® goods ultrasonically, degreased electrolytically and electroplated. COLORIT® is a 100 % biocompatible material, which is consistently tested for toxicity and biocompatibility. It does not cause any allergies and is skin-friendly. It can be sterilised and meets medico-technical requirement. This COLORIT® resin is `Hi Clear` Transparent. Supplied in a 5g jar.
