Precision made from high quality hardened steel Sizes 0.5mm to 3mm 31 round holes Perfect for reducing or reshaping wire This Durston Drawplate is designed to be used in conjunction with a drawbench however can be secured in a vice, and it is used for reducing or reshaping wire. Made from Quality Hardened Steel this plate features 31 round holes and has the ability to reduce wire from 3mm to 0.5mm diameter. Also suitable to be used for reshaping wire and creating tube or chenier from sheet metal. It is important to ensure a sufficient point is created at the end of the wire or sheet so it can be pulled through the hole using drawtongs. After approximately every other draw, the metal should be annealed to regain malleability.
