Constructed from cast iron for strength, and features an Aluminium body gear box instead of the usual heavier steel unit and a steel base instead of a cast iron one. These differences allow for a more affordable power rolling mill. The rollers and steel gears are the same quality, as is the 1.5 HP rated 230V motor. The high precision epi-cyclic gearbox provides a higher turn efficiency and smooth operation. The square grooves produce cut-corner square wire for easier rolling and drawing and the extension roller features seven D shape grooves. There is a full list of safety features including an emergency stop button, extension roller guards, top cover and safety bars at the front and rear of the rollers. In addition to this the Durston TUI C130 Electric Double Sided Combination Rolling Mill offers variable speeds, forward and reverse buttons and is almost silent. The maximum sheet thickness this rolling machine will take is 5.5mm with a maximum sheet width of 130mm. There are 19 square wire grooves ranging from 1mm to 10mm. The right hand extension roller features four D wire grooves including 1.5, 2, 3 and 4 mm. The left hand extension roller features three D wire grooves including 3.5, 6 and 8mm. The variable speed ranges from 5rpm to 30rpm. The dimensions of the power rolling mill are 83 x 39 x 54cm. The total weight is 180kg.
