Dyed Howlite Semi Precious Round Beads, 6mm, 16"/40cm Strand

Howlite is a borate mineral, characterised by its grey to black web-like veining, which gives the stone a marbled surface appearance. Although naturally white, howlite can be dyed due to its porous texture and is commonly dyed blue, giving it a similar appearance to turquoise. Howlite is known as a calming stone and can ease communication and encourage creative emotional expression. These beads measure approximately 6mm in diameter with a threading hole size of 1mm and are supplied as a 16" strand. Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so colours and patterns will vary and slight natural inclusions are sometimes faintly visible. Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place howlite in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Howlite can be easily cleaned with an untreated cloth.
