This complete set of wax profiles have been produced to save you time on creating hinges, channels, clasps and other complicated designs where wax carving is required. Made from Blue wax (standard) which is strong and flexible, it has the ability of being distorted without cracking or breaking - perfect for intricate carvings or unique design elements. Rated as `good` for hand carving and offers a 52 (Shore D) hardness. Supplied in a 23 piece kit with all pieces measuring 5" long (127mm) and include; 3 x Solid Round Wires (1.5mm, 2.5mm, 3.5mm diameter), 3 x Solid Square Wires (1.5mm, 2.5mm, 3.5mm), 2 x Round Tube (2.5mm, 3.5mm diameter with 0.75mm wall depth), 4 x Square Tube (2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.5mm, 5.5mm diameter with 0.75mm wall depth), 2 x 1mm thick Flat Ribbon Strips (2mm, 4mm), a 90 Degree Corner wire, a 60 Degree Corner wire, 1x Hinge Tube (2.5mm diameter with a 1mm hole), a 3mm x 6mm Wax Catch, 2 x Channel Wires (1mm, 2mm), 1 x Ball & Socket (3.5mm x 5mm) and 1 x Bail (6.5mm x 4.5mm).
