Freeman Mould-A-Wax is a uniquely malleable wax, which can be used to produce free-form jewellery items and sculptures using the lost wax casting process. Behaving similarly to a hard clay, Mould-A-Wax can be rolled, bent, twisted or shaped into an infinite variety of unique designs. It is softened by placing in warm water and, after forming, will return to a fully solid state at room temperature. The wax can be softened several times until your design is perfected. This 1lb pack of soft grade Mould-A-Wax can be used to join items made in most solid casting waxes together, and for repairing wax casting patterns. It can also be used as a stone setter`s pick up wax, as an engraver`s transfer wax, or as an injection wax.
