This modelling clay is ideal for making unique jewellery pieces such as earrings, necklaces or bracelets. It also makes wonderful leather effect decorations for your home. This 57g block of Fimo leather effect in Indigo (colour reference 309) can be worked in the same way as FIMO soft. Unlike other oven-hardening types of Fimo, Fimo leather effect is hardened for 30 minutes at 130°C. After hardening, the thinly-rolled sheets are highly flexible, and can be bent, cut with scissors, punched or sewn. You can shape or work FIMO leather-effect in any way you like, such as embossing patterns or lettering. You can vary the leather effect too; the more firmly you compress the modelling clay, the smoother the leather effect you will create but if you pull the clay apart gently by hand after rolling it out, the leather effect will have more of a raw look. Like all FIMO, leather-effect is self adhesive, so when two pieces of FIMO are placed on top of each other, they will stick together. Pressing and smoothing the clay will strengthen the bonding. This is great for if you wish to lay two colours on top of each other. FIMO will also stick to glasses and tins, making them easy to cover. Colours can also be combined with each other to create a new solid colour, or unique patterns, marbling effects, and colour blends. The FIMO leather-effect look is visible on both sides after hardening. Each 57g block of FIMO Leather is also marked into eight smaller, equally sized portions, making cutting and blending calculations simple. This block of Fimo Leather measures approximately 55mm x 55mm x 16mm. Please note that colours of Fimo modelling clay may vary slightly from photos online.
