This book of Fine Silver leaf is perfect for adding silver highlights to decorative surfaces. Each sheet contains genuine fine silver that has been beaten down to a fine, thin sheet and is supplied loose within the booklet meaning each leaf sits loosely between specially waxed pages, ready to be lifted off when required. This product is incredibly delicate and therefore must be handled with care using a gilders tip or special brush to avoid erosion. This loose leaf is suitable for use on picture frames, furniture, interior and jewellery design. It is also suitable for internal moulded, carved and embellished areas. Due to the nature of silver, this thin sheet has tendency to oxidise and therefore must be protected against oxidisation. 25 sheets are supplied measuring 82mm x 82mm x 0.25 micron Please note - this leaf must be picked up and placed and not rubbed onto the surface. To use this product; pick up the sheet carefully with a gilders tip and place onto the area you want to cover. Using the brush lightly apply to the area.
