The JoolTool 3M Microfinishing Diamond disc, green, is to be used for fine grinding or fine surface preparation when using the JoolTool polishing system. This multi-purpose disc has a 30 micron (400 grit) bite and is ideal for grinding and shaping semi-precious and precious stones, precious metals, carbide, cobalt, tungsten, plastics and glass. Made from an industrial grade diamond abrasive, this multi-purpose disc performs better than emery paper and is suitable to be used either wet or dry. Ideal for cutting and shaping stones as well as smoothing chips, removing porosity and can achieve a sharper-than-factory finish on carbide tools. Unlike traditional polishing wheels, the slotted discs become transparent when spinning offering you full view of your piece when grinding and polishing. It is recommended that the microfinishing abrasives must be backed onto the 3M Bumpon cushion (998 J026) for a longer life span and optimal finishing results.
