Suitable for fragile items such as filigree This Stainless Steel Pin Shot is to be used with Magnetic Tumbler Polishing Machine (999 6027) and replaced when your existing pin shot becomes defective. Made from Stainless Steel, this delicate pin shot allows the smooth and effective burnishing of your jewellery items and because it`s not as aggressive as mixed shot it is suitable for fragile items such as filigree. Designed to burnish your metal, the 5mm long x 0.3mm wide flat ended pins prevent pitting and are ideal for hard to reach areas like; channel settings, underside of rings and chains. This 75g replacement shot has been specially manufactured for magnetic tumblers only and we advise to clean thoroughly before use. Simply run the pins through 3-4 cycles or until the solution is clear, this prevents dirt transfer onto your pieces. Ensure you always use with the recommend solution to ensure longevity. To use; simply fill the bowl up half way of water, then add a small amount of solution, then add your cleaned pins and finally your your item. Remember to clean your shot and bowl after every cycle. To store we would advise to leave a clean mix in the bowl including your pins, however DO NOT leave it on the machine as this may de-magnetise your pins.
