Designed to replace the majority of the emery process, this buff needle file from Vallorbe features a barrette profile, 140mm in length 4.7mm x 1.4mm thick at widest point, in Grit 10. Manufactured from an anti-corrosive, coated surface, these fine abrasive files are perfectly suited to pre-finishing applications on both soft and hard metals such as; Titanium and steel alloys. The very fine abrasive surface of buff files will eliminate marks left by your finest cut files, for de-burring and pre-polishing work in small and difficult areas to reach. With a service life up to ten times longer than wooden buff sticks, Vallorbe buff files are ideal for gold, silver and base metal jewellery work, and can also be used to work on hard materials such as titanium, steel and enamel with ease. These buff files can be used as an alternative to the majority of wooden emery stick buffing stages, leaving a smooth, even finish ready for polishing. Vallorbe buff files are easy to clean with alcohol, cleaning pastes or ultrasonic treatment, and should be cleaned regularly to improve service life and retain quality.
