Made from high carbon steel and suitable for use on all metals, they deliver a superior performance time and again. This Vallorbe Pointed Square file measures 150mm in length and 5.5mm in width. Please note, length does not include the tang (handle). Ideal for a multitude of shaping applications, including filing surfaces and slots, this file is cut on all four sides. This file is a medium/fine cut 3. The coarser the file the more metal is removed. Files are graded as below: Cut 00 - Very coarse Cut 0 - Coarse Cut 1 - Coarse/Medium Cut 2 - Medium Cut 3 - Medium/Fine Cut 4 - Fine
