This Vallorbe Crossing File measures 150mm in length, 4.8mm in width and 2.0mm thickness and features two half round profiles with varying depths making it ideal for various concave and convex surfaces. Jewellers may wish to use a separate set of needle files for gold work to avoid cross-contamination of metal. Although it is not necessary to use a handle, specific file handles are available - 999 0549 This file has a medium cut 2 finish. The coarser the file, the more metal is removed. Files are graded as below; Cut 00 - Very coarse Cut 0 - Coarse Cut 1 - Coarse/Medium Cut 2 - Medium Cut 3 - Medium/Fine Cut 4 - Fine
