Delivery companies are nothing new. However, Penguin takes the concept and gives it a new spin. The start-up company encourages people to deliver goods and get paid; however, to work with Penguin, you must conduct your business using an electric or hybrid vehicle. Goods get delivered, couriers get paid, and less pressure is put on the environment using eco-friendly vehicles.
The Agency
Penguin approached Creative Harmony to design a brand and logo that reflected its ethics and purpose. We created a penguin logo based on the Golden Ratio. The Golden Ratio, often called the divine proportion, is the number used when two quantities are divided so that their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger one of the two qualities. The ratio 1.618 or Phi is found everywhere in nature, from seashells, flowers and pinecones to the human body. Creating a logo based on the ratio immediately links human endeavour with the natural world. Some of the world’s greatest thinkers and artists incorporate the ratio into their work, knowing this creates the idea that using this company is an intelligent choice.

A well-conceived logo is vital to your brand so people can understand your core message at almost a single glance. That’s why it’s a great idea to consider the Golden Ratio when designing a logo to draw people in and help them connect instantly. Many of the world’s biggest brands use the Golden Ratio to form their logos: Pepsi, Apple and Twitter, to name just a few.
As well as the primary logo and brand identity, we created a set of isometric illustrations to convey the concept behind the company better.
