CURTIS Nominated for 2014 FLTA Awards
05-12-2013
Curtis’ 1232E-Series AC Speed Controller has been nominated for a Forklift Truck Association (FLTA) Award for Innovation.
Each year the FLTA Awards recognise and reward those in the material handling industry that demonstrate the best new ideas in four main product categories: Environment, Ergonomics, Safety and Innovation.
Curtis’ pioneering approach to safety standards as specified in EN1175-1:1998+A1:2010, has resulted in our selection as a finalist in the INNOVATION category and people are now being asked to vote, so this where we ask for your help!
Barry Langsford, Curtis UK Managing Director: “The achievements of Curtis engineering in the creation of this fail-safe range of controllers that not only comply but exceed all the latest legislation is particularly impressive and will undoubtedly help prevent operational issues into the future.”
“We’re delighted to receive recognition and be a finalist again in these prestigious awards and sincerely hope that people will recognise our development effort and vote for Curtis and the huge step forward in truck safety that the 1232E represents.“
Voting closes on 31st December 2013 and the awards will be presented in February 2014.
The 1232E models utilise powerful dual-microprocessor logic to cross-check critical truck circuits, I/O logic and software functions. The ‘E’ models ensure the highest possible functional safety performance level is achieved at all times.
