Comprising of a Fluke 117 Electricians multimeter and the newly released Fluke PRV240 proving unit, the kit is aimed firmly at the Electrical, Maintenance and Process sectors. Fluke PRV240 Proving Unit The Fluke PRV240 is the only battery powered voltage source that can be utilised for verification of your test tool before taking actual measurements when a known source is not available. Verification of your test tool is recommended by both GS38 and NFPA70E before any live measurements are made. The Fluke PRV240 Proving Unit is a portable, pocket-sized, battery-powered voltage source. It is unique in that it sources stable ac and dc voltages for both LoZ and HiZ instruments. LED power indicator: Turns on when output voltage is present. Voltage is sourced through recessed contacts.
