The Fluke 4181 Precision Infrared Calibrators for infrared thermometers and thermal imagers is fast, accurate, and easy to use. It comes with an accredited calibration from one of the world’s most trusted temperature calibration laboratories, sample calibration procedures for Fluke thermometers built right in and everything you need to get started making high-quality infrared thermometer calibrations.
The Fluke 4181 may be used as a portable instrument or bench top temperature calibrator for calibrating point IR thermometers. The 4181 is small enough to use in the field, and accurate enough to use in the lab.
Unique patent pending safety features make the instruments the safest IR calibrators available. The Block Temperature Indicator (Patent Pending) shows the user when the target temperature is above 50°C letting the user know when it is safe to place the target cover on the instrument and/or move it to a different location. The indicator remains illuminated when the instrument is energised and above 50°C, but with mains power removed, it will ??ash until the target temperature drops below 50°C.

1For 8 µm to 14 µm spectral band thermometers with emissivity set between 0.9 and 1.0
2The uniformity specification refers to how IR thermometers with different spot sizes both focused at the center of the targer will measure the same temperature.
3The target has a nominal emissivity of 0.95, however it is radiometrically calibrated to minimise emissivity related uncertainties.
