The Fluke 773 is designed to save you time, and money, by eliminating time wasting activities. Now you can troubleshoot and repair 4-20 mA loops without breaking the loop or bringing down the system.
The hand-held, battery-operated Fluke 773 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter can be used in troubleshooting transmitters, valves, PLC and DCS I/O. Unlike conventional clamp meters, the Fluke 773 features a remote jaw that is connected to the main body via extension cable.
The 773 also sources and measures dc voltage, so it can be used to troubleshoot voltage input and output devices. You can detach the clamp section of the meter and use it as a remote jaw, connected to the main body by an extension cable to make it easier to take measurements in tight spaces. Plus, automatic power-off features save battery life so you can work longer without changing the batteries.
FEATURES
DC voltage measurement to verify 24 V power supplies or voltage I/O signals.
Source dc voltage to test input devices that accept a 1 to 5 volt or 0 to 10 volt signal.
Scaled mA output provides a continuous mA signal that corresponds to the 4 to 20 mA signal measured by the mA clamp.
mA in/out: simultaneously measure the mA signal with the clamp and source a mA signal.
Voltage output linear ramp or 25 % step output.
Automatically changes the 4 to 20 mA output for remote testing.
Data hold function.
Auto off and backlight timeout extend battery life.
Built-in measurement spotlight for illuminating darkened areas.
