Ultrasonic Hatch Cover Leak Detector

The Cygnus Hatch Sure ultrasonic leak detector has been type approved and accepted by P & I clubs. Used to quickly and effectively evaluate the weather tightness of cargo hold hatch covers and door seals to prevent damage to cargo which results in expensive insurance claims due to sea water ingress. The hatch sure system consists of two parts: a battery powered transmitter containing 19 ultrasound emitters and; a receiver that displays the sound energy level that passes through gaps in the enclosed cargo hold to enable the location of leaks to be quickly and accurately identified.
